Business Name : Ich Dien Solutions Limited

Industry: Leadership and Training Consultancy

Introduction Video: (Coming Soon)

About:

After 37 years in the Army I set up Ich Dien Solutions to make best use of my transferable skills.  Ich Dien is the motto of the Prince of Wales, and was the motto of the first Regiment I was commissioned into in 1989, The Staffordshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's). It simply means 'I serve' and that's what we do, we find solutions to match your problems.

The portfolio has expanded and I conduct leadership training, mentor leadership candidates, army officers and those breaking into leadership and management in business and help organisations to design and deliver in-house training.  When not involved in that I do inspirational and motivational speaking in schools and have experience in public speaking and chairing conferences.

In addition Ich Dien Solutions conducts hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, particularly useful for those who need a little bit of help overcoming subconscious barriers, fears or phobias; group taster sessions are available.

And finally I teach offshore sailing, as a professional skipper, helping others to gain confidence, improve communication skills, become an active part of a team and gain Royal Yachting Association qualifications.

Client Testimonials:

1) “Staff saying Andy was the best speaker we’ve had in years; how engaging he was and how even our tough Year 10 boys are speaking positively about his presentation.”

Netherstowe School, Lichfield

“He inspired the young people with the story of his Army career, sharing the lessons he learned while he realised his ambition. Students were captivated - you could hear a pin drop - no mean feat with 400 students…he spoke about resilience, positive mindset and respecting others: essential skills for any young person.”

De Ferrers Academy, Burton on Trent.

2) Andy and I have worked on a variety of projects over the last 7 years including the highly regarded Durham University Business School, MBA boardroom exercise; he has always been a hugely valuable addition to my work.

He has not only contributed himself to classroom discussions, lectures and panels, but has also introduced me to a variety of extremely high quality contacts with whom I also continue to work.

HIs experience in leadership, strategic planning and project executions unparalleled in his field, and he is extremely good at drawing out the transferable knowledge that his long-term service in the military offers to the world of business at all levels.

Andy is on my permanent ‘go to’ list of valued contacts.  I will contribute his skills, knowledge and experience to my entrepreneurship teaching, academic research and executive consultancy work.

Dr Joanna Berry Associate Dean Engagement Durham University Business School, Director Durham Energy Institute

3) Andy spoke at the second Just Williams Sales Conference on leadership - and opened the morning with a session surrounding mindset matters.  His experience, expertise and passion along with confidence in his subject matter were evident.
