About:
I am both a commercial litigator at Weightmans and also part of Weightmans’ specialist cybersecurity team, CyXcel. I am also sector lead for owner managed businesses within Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region.
As a litigator, I am regularly instructed to act on disputes arising out of commercial contracts, distressed IT and outsourcing projects, financial disputes, shareholder disputes, cases involving the misuse of confidential information, restraint of trade disputes and also negligence claims, including professional negligence.
I am also part of CyXcel, Weightmans' cyber security business which fuses legal, technical and consulting expertise all under one roof. As part of this team, I regularly advise on cyber and data breach incident response, as well as contentious issues emerging from such incidents.
