History:
After leaving college at 17 years old not knowing what to do with my life Barclays Bank offered me a career, starting out as admin for mortgage applications, I then at 19 years old qualified as a Mortgage Advisor, little did I know at that stage I would end up being the Business Controls Manager for all telephone based mortgage & protection sales for the company - 10 years later I fancied a change after becoming a mum.
I entered the world of brokering for a national estate agency, expanding my knowledge about the estate agency side, this gave me first hand experience about dealing with the whole process of buying and selling houses. After 13 years at the estate agency it was time......
2026 - I launched my very own business DF Mortgage & Protection Specialists

20+ years experience in the industry (I know a lady should never give her age away :-), I can safely say there is nothing I have not seen or come across in the house buying process!
It is not just about the cheapest mortgage, it is also about the advice and service. I stay with my clients from start to keys and then until the mortgage is paid off! From the early stages of considering a purchase, to negotiating offers for my clients with estate agents, liaising with solicitors or builders ensuring a smoother experience, working with a range of trades so I always have a contact to solve a problem. Nothing is too much for my clients.

- I run free First Time Buyer work shops - for anyone wanting free advice & knowledge on how to get on the property ladder
- Go into school's to educate children on how to budget plan when owning a home
- I run a local children's basketball team
