About:
Mohammad Faisal Ahammad is Professor of International Business and Management and Head of the International Business Department at Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds. He is an internationally recognised scholar specialising in international business strategy, cross‑border mergers and acquisitions, strategic agility, and ESG and sustainability, with a strong focus on South Asia. He has published extensively in leading academic journals and serves as Associate Editor of Asian Business & Management, alongside editorial board roles for several top‑ranked international journals. Professor Ahammad is also Director of the James E. Lynch India & South Asia Business Centre, leading interdisciplinary research on sustainability, innovation, and development challenges. His contributions to research, teaching, and leadership have earned multiple prestigious awards.
Under Professor Ahammad’s leadership, the International Business Department is a global centre of excellence, connecting academics, industry leaders, and policymakers. The department delivers research‑led teaching and impactful insights across international trade, foreign direct investment, ESG and sustainability, global leadership, cross‑cultural management, and corporate governance, serving over 4,500 students worldwide.
